Former inspector general of police Benazir Ahmed today denied any acquaintance with Aarav Khan.
From his verified Facebook account, he posted a status in this regard.
"I want to assure you all that I do not know anyone named 'Aarav aka Rabiul aka Hridoy'. I do not even have a primary acquaintance with him," wrote the ex-police chief, addressing the people of the country.
"I have spent my entire law enforcement career fighting murderers, terrorists, drug dealers, smugglers, counterfeiters, and criminals, never developing any relationship with them."
The post added, "Thank you for your endless love, support and cooperation."
