Rajshahi University admission test: 45 students to vie for each seat

The final procedure for the Rajshahi University admission test has been completed.

The last date for the application process for the four stages of the first year (honours) admission test of academic year 2022-23 ended at 11:59pm on Tuesday.

A total of 178,574 students with quota have applied for 3,930 seats in three units.

Accordingly, 45 students will fight against each seat.

Professor Khademul Islam Mollah, director of the university's ICT centre, confirmed this information on Wednesday afternoon.

Among the total applicants, 72,050 students have applied in 'A' unit, 30,674 in 'B' unit and 75,850 in 'C' unit.

Regarding downloading the admit card, the director of the ICT centre said: "The deadline for downloading the admit card has not been fixed yet. But the seat plan will be made and then it will be informed.”

According to the university's admission circular and ICT centre sources, in this year's admission exam, without quota, a total of 216,000 thousand students participated in the admission exam in 'A' (Humanities), 'B' (Business Education) and 'C' (Science) units with a maximum of 72,000.

At the end of the four-stage final application process, a total of 178,574 applications have been submitted.

The admission tests will begin on May 29 by holding the entrance tests of ‘C' (science group) unit.

The admission tests for ‘A' (humanities group) and ‘B' (business group) units will take place on May 30 and 31 respectively.

The preliminary registration for the admission tests started at 12pm on March 15.
