Afghanistan restrict Bangladesh to 192 in third ODI

Liton Das scored his consecutive second fifty to propel Bangladesh to 192 against Afghanistan in the third and final one-day international at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on Monday.

Liton scored highest 86 off 113 balls while Mahmudullah chipped with an unbeaten 29.

For Afghanistan Rahid Khan struck thrice while Mohamamd Nabi took 2 and Azmtullah Omarzai, Fazalhaq Farooqi ended with one wicket each to bundle out Tigers for a modest 192 in 46.5 in overs.

Batting first after winning the toss, Bangladesh lost their opener Tamim Iqbal for 11 by Fazalhaq Farooqi that shortened them to 43-1.

In the second wicket stand, Shakib Al Hasan and Liton formed a 61-run partnership to curb the early loss however the pair ended after the former was bowled out by Azmatullah Omarzai for 30 off 36 balls.

Liton played single-handedly, forming 28 balls with Mamudullah in the fifth wicket stand before he fell to Mohammd Nabi bagging his consecutive second fifty in the series to take the Tigers to 192.
