The main opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party and Gono Odhikar Parishad on Wednesday agreed to organise joint movement to oust the ruling Awami League from power.
Leaders of both the parties came up with the announcement at a joint press conference following a meeting at Gono Odhikar Parishad office in Dhaka.
At the press conference, BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that the country people wanted to see an end of the miss rule of AL.
