BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed has commented that Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader is a member of BNP's proxy standing committee.
In response to Quader’s response to "BNP complains to foreigners", Rizvi said: "What have they done since 2001? They complained not only in the country but also abroad. And how did he know that we complained, does he use any secret device? It seems that Obaidul Quader is a member of BNP's proxy standing committee.”
Rizvi said these things in a press conference at BNP central office in the capital’s Naya Paltan on Tuesday afternoon.
In response to the comment that “BNP will have to pay a loss”, Rizvi commented: “Awami League will have to pay the loss, voting with Jatiya Party (Ershad) has proved that. They have to suffer the consequences of lying.”
