Bangladesh wicket-keeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim and pacer Mustafizur Rahman remained unsold in the 2020 Indian Premier League auction taking place in Kolkata today.
Mushfiq, who had a base price of Rupees 75 lakh, was called upon the auction table but none of the IPL franchises showed any interest on the Bangladesh stalwart.
Mushfiq, who is yet to play in the IPL, had earlier taken off his name from the auction list before again putting it back after reportedly a franchise requested his inclusion in the player’s list.
Mustafiz, who previously represented Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians for three seasons, had a base price tag of Rupee one crore, but none of the franchises showed interest on him.
