Tamim to go live with Rohit on Friday

Indian star opening batsman Rohit Sharma is set to appear for a Live session with Tamim Iqbal on Friday.

Tamim's official page on Tuesday confirmed the news as Rohit is all set to join Tamim for a live interaction, which will be available for viewers at Tamim's official Facebook page and YouTube Channel on Friday from 10:30pm.

Previously Tamim had announced to go for a live session with former South Africa captain Faf du Plessis on Wednesday at 10.30pm.

Tamim had already brought different guests in the earlier episodes. Streaming the first two sessions with wicket-keeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah respectively on Instagram live, Tamim moved the show to his Facebook and Youtube channel where Bangladesh ODI captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, pacers Taskin Ahmed and Rubel Hossain made appearances and shared some lighthearted moments.

In the latest episode, streamed on Sunday night, three former Bangladesh skippers Khaled Mahmud, Habibul Bashar and Naimur Rahman came in as guests and made the viewers travel to the past of Bangladesh cricket sharing different stories.

Tamim, albeit describing himself as not very active on social media, had started his live video chat shows on May 2 to keep the fans entertained with inside stories and anecdotes at a time when all sporting activity has come to a halt due to the coronavirus pandemic.
